Chicken vs Zombies is INOUT Games’ graveyard edition of the Chicken Road idea, and it is one of the most playful games in the series. We played every level in the demo, and the verdict is simple: it is quick to learn, easy to read and keeps a good amount of tension in every run.
The concept
A chicken has to cross a lane full of zombies. Every zombie you get past adds to the multiplier, and you can cash out at any stage. One bite ends the run. That is the whole game, and it works because every decision is visible: the next multiplier sits on the tombstone in front of you, and the Cashout button shows exactly what you take home if you stop now.
Four levels that really feel different

Many step games offer difficulty levels that look alike. Here every level has its own zombie crew and its own pace. Easy is a calm 30-zombie lane that reaches 1.15x by the fifth step. Medium brings the Pot-Headed Zombies and 1.78x. Hard brings the Football Player Zombies and 2.95x. Hardcore is an 18-zombie sprint with 1.44x on the very first step and 9.09x on the fifth. Switching level changes the whole character of a session. Difficulty levels has the full table.
The Chicken Boss
The Boss is what lifts Chicken vs Zombies above a plain step game. A long streak of safe steps upgrades the run, one correct step clears the Boss and the round takes the top payout path, capped at $20,000. You can always cash out before you face it, so the Boss is a choice rather than a trap.
Numbers and fairness
The RTP is 95.5%, bets run from $0.01 to $200 on the game sheet and the cap is $20,000 per round. The menu has provably fair settings, the game rules and your bet history, and the legit page explains who makes the game and who pays your winnings. Our RTP breakdown puts the numbers in context.
On mobile
The game is built in HTML5 and plays the same on a phone as on a computer: one big green button for each step and a Cashout button beside it. Our partner’s app opens the game in one tap on Android and iPhone.
Good to know
Runs are short, so a session can go faster than you expect: set a budget and a time limit before you play. The $20,000 cap counts per round, so huge multipliers pay their full value with moderate stakes. Neither point takes away from the fun; they simply help you plan your play.
